Story of ’Garden’:

2023-2024: Butteflies as a theme have been stuck with me since 2023. In summer 2024 I found some wooden board from my dad’s garage. I also found a pattern saw and saw a vision of a butterfly shaped painting.

2025: Next summer 2025 I repaired the edges of the butterfly (thanks to my poor sawing skills) and sat myself and the buttefly to my mom’s garden. Tho it’s small the garden is lush and full of life. I allowed myself to play with paint and let go of perfectionism.

2026: After a few days of painting I forgot the butterfly back to the garage but refound it just about a week ago (January 2026). I took it home and finished painting (at least the otherside) just a day before new member’s of Täky exhibition opening! Unexpectedly ’Garden’ became one of the main pieces to my half of the exhibition and I’m so happy it did!
